Model U.N. Class Offerings
Below are descriptions of the Westfield MUN class offerings for the academic year. Classes are multi-age, but can accommodate slightly younger students with instructor consent.
Please note that all classes require at least 6 registrants to run. In the unlikely case that registration for a class falls short of that number, the class will not run.
Please also note that admissions for all our classes are rolling; if you are interested in joining, it is never too late!

Description: Model U.N (MUN) is all about the art of diplomacy and negotiation. In preparation for (optional) competitors, students will learn about the United Nations and its procedures through participation in lively simulations. MUNers study and become familiar with world events, international affairs, politics, geography, and more. They also learn and get to practice the invaluable skills of compromise and negotiation and how to get a group of different people with disparate goals to reach consensus.
